Sorry, you can't see them in the pic - They're too fast for me to capture "on film". I heard them yesterday but dismissed the idea. Today I saw half a dozen skimming the pond. Summer must have arrived! All the same we are forecast a groundfrost tonight so I'm busy moving seedtrays indoors overnight. Just maybe the swifts know something...
I've chalked up two hours at the plot and £10 on sundries. I've learnt (rather too late) that I should be recording a running total as I go along because otherwise I'll have to trawl through a year of my posts...
I sure hope the Swifts are right and that summer is here...our weather was VERY cold yesterday and i want that lovely sun to come back and the nasty winds to go away...is it too much to ask for a nice day for planting?!?!?!
ReplyDeleteSummer is on its way! I daren't think how much I've spent but then compared to most hobbies it's pretty cheap with so many benefits.
ReplyDeleteI bet the swifts are wearing extra feathers as it is so cold.
ReplyDeleteI've been hearing them for a while now but can't catch a glimpse. They're tantalising me!
