We are experiencing the same here...one of my plot neighbours is likely to lose their broad beans this year as they planted them quite early and then due to the mild climate they have already flowered....not always good to get so far ahead of yourself.
and here I was thinking that I was running late with all my allotment stuff! It's been so different to last year, so it's hard to guage when to do things - can't just think that what worked/didn't work last year will be the same this year!
