I am happy (tinged with sympathy for those less fortunate) to report that all was well with our shed! I took the opportunity to harvest some supplies.
There were trees down all over town. The record 102 mph wind was measured at the top of Blackford Hill which is almost exactly half way between home and the plot.
I saw the sprouts and I feel embarrassed ;)
ReplyDeleteA nice crop you've got there, glad you weren't affected by the wind.
ReplyDeleteGlad you were unscathed. I'll post my update soon.
ReplyDeleteoh, those Brussels sprouts, you lucky lady!
ReplyDeleteIt'll certainly be windy if you eat all them sprouts!
ReplyDeleteVery nice. That is really some awful wind! Glad that hasn't happened here, we would have trees down everywhere too.
ReplyDelete'wind update' and a picture of sprouts in my reader .... I wondered what you were going to write about!
ReplyDeleteGlad all is well on the plot :o)
I think we got away lightly with the wind compared to you. My swedes are the size of your sprouts.
ReplyDeleteGlad that you survive unscathed I did wonder about you when they were reporting weather conditions in your neck of the woods.
ReplyDeleteGlad your shed's intact Mal and good lucking sprouts, ours are coming to an end now.
ReplyDeleteWas there some wind? It's been like a tropical paradise "darn Sarf"!
ReplyDeleteGlad you didn't suffer and wind damage...I am very envious of that swede...it's a beauty...any tips for this year on growing them??
