Brick Beds - Parsley, Sage, Rosemary and Thyme



Clockwise from the left: Strawberry (Marshmello), Herb bed, fleece protected pelargoniums, parsley plus sorrel stalks (which will grow back) and tarragon which sadly will not. 


At this time of year you can understand why these herbs are the ones that are on sale at Scarborough Fair

  1. Am so thrilled to see the brick raised beds starting to produce. They are lovely, and you have done a great job.

    Are you quite sure about the tarragon not growing back? It won't here outside, but potted in the cold shed, after cutting back the main branches, the roots set up new leaves from the soil. Keep your eyes peeled for that...just in case. Your climate is kinder than ours.

  3. Very impressed with the brick beds. I've got a few odd spaces on my allotment so I'll be collecting bricks now??

  4. It's all looking goo Mal... I wonder if my herbs have fared so well in the cold weather?? Really should go and check the allotment!!
