Seed greed? I couldn't turn down the special offer of 5 coloured varieties with my £5 off voucher from T&M. As I already had three orange varieties on order that's a hell of a lot of carrots. It's kill or cure for me this year for carrots!

ReplyDeleteYou missed the white carrots, better get more, lol. I bought a package of multi-colored carrots off eBay even though I know root crops don't do well here.

Hi Mal, any tips on how to grow straight carrots? You've probably seen the embarassing carrot I grew last year!
ReplyDeleteHi JoJo, If they forked that would have been because the soil was too nitogen rich. You should avoid adding manure to soil in the same year you are growing carrots. But I haven't tracked down your pics yet!
