Sometimes it's nice just to get the right equipment:
I did drop a few large hints (including buying the thing myself).
My very first post featured the mound that was the "fireplace" (in the foreground below). Since then I have had a movable wire basket fireplace which sits on an offcut from granite kitchen worktop we had fitted, but this was disintegrating fast. So this is my self indulgent replacement.
Happy Birthday! Now you have just got to work out how to cook the jacket spuds on that piece of equipment and you are well away!
ReplyDeleteSomeone stole ours - even though the bottom had fallen out. I'm guessing it was someone out for scrap metal so watch out
ReplyDeleteYou working on producing copious amounts of Bio-Char??
ReplyDeleteUseful piece of kit. We're not allowed to use them on our allotments (sad). I've found wood ash very useful in the past.
ReplyDeleteI have to say I do love my incinerator...especially on those colder days. Do you have rules for your fires Mal?? We are only allowed to light them at weekend and only if the wind is blowing away from the houses.
