Blowin in the Wind

I was moaning about the wind a couple of posts ago  Today my plastic greenhouse got shredded. Here's some pictures from around Edinburgh today:

Words fail me.  Except to say that perhaps it was a bad idea to leave my shed half dismanted this weekend.

  1. The wind can be highly destructive can't it, and just as we thought we were close to a decent summer arriving. Sorry to hear about the greenhouse and shed, I'm apprehensive about whether mine will be still standing and the winds were nowhere near as strong down here.

  2. Bad news about the greenhouse and shed, Mal. We still have to visit our plot to check on any damage = not looking forward to that".

  4. Hope the damage isn't too bad Mal, we only got a strong breeze down here so got away with it.

  5. Winds were atrocious here in St Andrews. So many of my veg are snapped, bent or scorched. Off to prop up and/or re-sow...
